Using bonding serum with BB&L products for your brow and lash services is a MUST.
Bonding serum positions the hairs prior to the treatment and also acts as a barrier to the solutions ensuring you do not damage your clients hairs.
Bonding serum needs a little bit of air to become your desired tacky consistency. We recommend applying the bonding serum in small sections and allowing 10-20 seconds for the bonder to become tacky.
With that being said, it is important to limit the air exposure to the bottle. The more the product is exposed to air, the tackier it will become. Therefore, we recommend closing the lid after each application. When finished, ensure the lid is closed properly.
If you struggle adhering the lashes to the shield. It is important to remember that bonding serum is soluble which means the solutions will begin to dissolve it. Make sure you apply more to the tips of the lashes as your solutions will not reach the tips therefore they will help to keep the lashes in place.
Always apply a very thin coat. If your bonder becomes white and flakey, you have applied too much. In this instance remove the bonder and start again. It is better to have a few gos and get it perfect!
